Resembling a style made popular in the '70s by Sly & The Family Stone, Curtis Mayfield, Quincy Jones and Bill Withers, Legend knows his chops and delivers an all-time classic R&B album ready for the new millennium.
Original vinyl copies of Get Lifted fetch are quite hard to come by, which makes a reissue of this title more than welcome for Soul and Hip Hop fans.
