Hailing from Great Yarmouth, Catherine Wheel were one of the original 'Shoegazer' bands and certainly the most popular, even scoring a U.S. hit with 'Black Metallic'. Produced by Talk Talk collaborator Tim Friese-Greene, Ferment features 'Shallow', 'I Want to Touch You', 'She's My Friend & 'Salt' as well as the aforementioned 'Black Metallic'. This edition comes expanded with six bonus recordings including the four 30 CenturyMan E.P. tracks, the non-album single 'Balloon' and live fan favorite 'Intravenous'. Cherry Red. 2010.
